State Best Teacher Award (2011); Meritorious Teacher Award (2000); Senior Fulbright Award, Penn State University, USA (2003-04); Faculty Award of SICI-DFAIT Canada (2010); Common Wealth Award, UK (2010-11)., Visiting Gerontologist Award, STU, NB, Canada (2017).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"justify para_bot_less\">Trained in Social Gerontology at the International Institute on Aging, Malta as UNFPA Fellow (1992); Advanced Training on Gerontological Research at Gerontology Centre, Penn State University (1996-97); Visiting Scientist at TMIG, Tokyo, Japan (1998-99); Honry.
